Our goats have quickly become family members, each with a truly unique and delightful personality ! We hope these pictures help you get to know them too ! We are raising American Dairy Goat Association ( ADGA) registered Nubian (all ears) and La Mancha (no ears) dairy goats. We are committed to raising goats which are not only highly productive but are also beautiful to look at and which meet the high standards set by these breed associations. For a little history on these beautiful breeds click here for Nubian, and here for LaMancha. We've chosen these breeds for our herd for a couple of reasons. 1. They are well adapted to the hot climate here in Texas,. 2. They are known for their milk production VOLUME and QUALITY. The high concentrations of protein and butterfat make better tasting MILK and CHEESE ! Our herd is CAE and CL free. In order to maintain this status ALL of our goats are raised using strict CAE/CL prevention practices. In addition our herd is tested annually for CAE and CL.
