Calysta had her mother "eye appeal" as soon as she hit the ground. She is "super dairy" with more refinement than her dam Louise. She has incredibly soft skin texture and open ribbing. Her teat placement is perfect and she milks out to nearly nothing. She was grand Champion at the 2015 State Fair of Texas...and ResChampion (behind Ellie) at the 2016 FW Stock Show. She went on to finish her permanent CH in 2017...And received a final LA score of 91. Her score dropped in 2019 as she was on extended lacation. We are so glad we did not underestimating this girl and gave her a chance to mature ! She will hopefully get another LA when not stale in 2020.
