Over the years Spot has been stingy with doe kids...We felt incredibly blessed that Spot gave us a single doe kid in 2017. Spot was our very first goat to earn a final and permanent Linear Appraisal score of 92. Given her age in 2017 (11 years)...we knew this was going to be her last kidding. She breezed through it like a champ.
We can definitely see improvements that the sire (Solan) has made, especially in the smoothness of blending of neck and shoulders on a doe like Spot who is nearly perfect in every other way ! Jing survived a bobcat attack as a 8 week old kid, thanks to our extremely protective (and fence jumping) Akbash, Phaedra. She still has the white scars to prove it around her head and neck.
