We have long admired the Mint*Leaf lamanchas and especially The Preference Flyer (2 times ADGA National Reserve Grand Champion). A BIG thanks to Nestor Acres for sharing the semen from her son "American Idol" that made "Captain America" possible !
This AI son of Idol and our fabulous GCH Dream-Fire Yakira (LA89) has tremendous length of bone. He is uphill, has a gorgeous long neck and has tremendous width in the escutcheon !!! He has 3 seniors daughters in our herd, and all three have LA scores of 90, and have handily finished their championships (Daisy & DejaVu & Sonata are already a finished champions). Other daughters like Hot Flash have their junior legs and it is just a matter of time for their turn to win. He continued to give us kids into spring of 2021 with his last three daughters being born on my birthday !...We lost him shortly after that at a few months over 11 years. Always the gentle giant, he is missed every day. Consistency across the board is this beautiful boy's strong suit...from milking ability, LA scores, show wins and beautiful udders!
